Starting to Develop Bodily Awareness

In this segment i will teach you a little about body awareness and what it means to be aware of what's going on in your body and how to scan for "void spots" and walls and what's going on there.

To fix an issue you have to be aware of it first. This is the most true when it comes to our bodies. Awareness of what's happening in the body, can lead you to why it's happening, and once you know why it's happening you can learn how to fix it and solve the issue. The thing is how do we even become aware of the things we're unaware of in our bodies?

The body is a marvelously designed organism, where in order for you to exist in a pain free state, if it has enough resources, the body will create new pathways for you to use that is not inflicted with pain. It will cover up any immediate effect or access to your pain and as long as you don't move again in the way that the path of pain is, overtime, your body will adapt and re function around avoiding that path of pain. However this has its consequences, which can be quite severe. Overtime as you adapt and lose function over that path, that path becomes like a train track in a lush forest that has been claimed by nature. The growth of the environment overruns the tracks, debris piles up everywhere, and running a train along that track becomes highly hazardous and dangerous. In extreme cases a train wouldn't be able to pass through that track at all anymore and in common cases the train is experiencing hitting all the debris as it goes. The train is your energy, your sense, your "activation".

So in short the body covers up and adapts itself to not only overcome pain, but to ignore it completely. And you'll never know it until it's revealed. However the signs are always there, the dysfunction, the disfigurement, the misalignment, the uncomfortably, the limping, the weight gain, the misshapen figures, the movements that look awkward and labored, all signs that point to a lack of awareness of the body, and there's many more signs these are just to name a few of the most obvious. Have you asked yourself and looked around and said when did humans start looking like turkeys? hyper extended necks, like camels, with these excessive and protruding round humps on there shoulders and back? Why can't people walk straight, out stand straight without it being so labored and what about the "puffing" of the chest... what if it wasn't a puffing but how your chest was supposed to look naturally? See lack of awareness of the body can cause so many dysfunctions that you start to think that these dysfunctions are normal.

So how do we start to bring repair to our bodies, clean the tracks of the railroad so our energies flow unobstructed. This is where knowing how to apply the true knowledge and techniques of yoga, release, movement, pressure, meditation, and pain management come in. You see these subjects are foundational to the health and ability of the human body. Knowing the right perspective and application of those techniques amongst others will vastly improve your base form. As you follow along this guide, you will be taught the proper framing and approach when utilizing these techniques to help build the best foundation out to its fullest potential. however it all starts with simple awareness.
