Breathing Practice: L Technique

Building Structural Integrity

Alright, now we'll get into the next practice for building a base for functional breathing. For this one you want to take a seat on the floor. The goal is to build your structure in a way that creates space for you to breathe by unlocking the paths that stabilize your foundation. This is a difficult process for the average person so don't get discouraged by the difficulty at first. Overtime and with practice you will feel and see the benefits of such a practice.

The process we will follow builds your back line, for a more in depth insight into this practice and technique come here (premium)So let's begin

  • As you sit on the floor, extend your legs fully in front of you.
  • pull your feet back aka flex your feet so your heels are pressed forward and your toes pulled towards you
  • Roll your shoulders back
  • pull them together and squeeze the blades together then pull them down
  • pull your neck back ( i'm sure at this point your neck is protruding) and aim it up from the back simultaneously pull your chest up and wide
  • (at this point if you feel like you're struggling you're so far away from normal functioning levels aka Base Form, that you'll need extensive practice and guidance, consider connecting with me)
  • Now once your chest is pulled upright, position your arms in base, base is with your shoulders rolled out if that your palms face upwards, this is functional, not rolled inwards.
  • Once they're in base bring your palms together in front of you
  • once your palms are together bring your awareness to your hips
  • at this point you're probably bent over in a C shape as you struggle to maintain this position. Keep the position and focus on your hips, as you sit you want to roll your hips and back in the direction that brings you to an "L" position
  • at this point you're probably feeling a difficulty in getting your hips to move from the bottom to get yourself into the L position. This shows a lack of connection that needs to be corrected
  • Now that you know the goal position at this point is when you want to focus on breathing.
  • Now inhale to your max capacity fully expanding your chest, and then slowly release once your capacity is reached
  • All the while you must try to maintain your body position and struggle against your walls, which at this point you'll notice, express a lot of your energy, stamina and focus.

  • And that's it, that's the next technique to practice. This Technique is extremely difficult for the average person to pull off so again, i encourage taking it piece by piece or if you want guidance on how to navigate and practice this technique and integrate it without risking injury and safely then consider contacting me to schedule a guidance session or upgrading to VIP for a more substantial in depth guide with visuals and audio..

Why is this technique extremely difficult to pull off for the average person? It challenges your back line paths integrity and tests your lending chain structure. It also exposes which paths of power in you are obstructed and cut off. And at the same time tests your ability to deliver oxygen to distressed muscles and overcome dysfunction. It is best done with someone guiding you on how to integrate these steps effectively because of the danger in unknown strains, pains, and effects of obstructions that need to be uncovered by observation and feedback. There are so many steps to keep in mind for yourself that you could be overwhelmed in how you properly take on each step and if you've integrated them correctly. There is a consequence to skipping or ignoring any part of this sequence, which is why especially for those new to incorporating this technique and breathing well in general, should consider strongly watching a video i post on this practice, or scheduling a guidance session.

This is a general take on this technique, the depth of this technique can only be understood when it is translated to your current body's function status. There's levels that this simple technique take the shape of. Depth to each step and even more steps beyond this to be aware of based on your level of practice. I would say it breaks down like this, there's surface level, core level and All encompassing levels of thinking, understanding, practice, depth, and execution behind each technique and practice routine. Right now you're at the level of just breaking the surface but look at how rich the surface is! Once you experience what it takes to progress to the deeper core and all encompassing levels of each lesson you will have an exponential benefit to the basis of applying them You may take on the challenge of taking on the wealth of the depth of knowledge and concepts if you choose at the vip level, where each lesson is given substantial levels of depth and context for your benefit and also comes with the ability for you to schedule guidance sessions with me so i can translate these lessons to your level and how you can apply them to your best benefit and path moving forward that you should take.
